"the cowboy church"

People come in all shapes, sizes and lifestyles. We believe there is only one God and one way to heaven through Jesus the Christ. We also believe that each of us is hard wired to worship differently. We're a group of like minded people worshipping in a way that is comfortable to us... the cowboy way.

-+-+- MARCH 2022 COVID-19 UPDATE -+-+-

We are continuing to meet in person!

Join us Friday evenings at 7:00pm for our weekly worship service. If you prefer, however, both the "weekly Word" videos (posted Tuesdays or Wednesdays) and the audio from our Friday evening service (posted Saturdays) continue to be posted online, as per normal. These can be found on the "sermons" page of this website (along with many other messages from older services).

This is unquestionably a tough time -- hang in there and feel free to reach out to us. You can find our contact information on the "contact" page.

May the Lord find us faithful in these strange and uncomfortable days.

I sought the LORD and He answered me, and delivered me from all my fears.

- Psalms 34: 4 (NASB)

A cowboy church ... Really?

Cowboy church isn't just for working cowboys. It's for armchair enthusiasts, farm folks, those "stuck in the city", rodeo fans, city slickers and anyone "country" at heart. It's for anyone with an affinity for the western lifestyle.

If you've ever tapped your toes to a country tune, watched a western, know the theme song from Bonanza, read a Zane Gray (or Louis L'Amour) novel, done a line dance or square dance, or own a pair of jeans, you're "cowboy".

The message of God's love for you remains the same. We're committed to solid evangelical Christian beliefs. It's just the atmosphere and music that are different.

Our music is "country". That includes everything that might fit under the broad heading of the country genre. Country. Western. Gospel. Rockabilly. Roots (especially blue grass). Grand Ol' Opry. And more.

Our dress is casual and informal. Wear your jeans, stetson and boots if you've got them. Or wear whatever you're comfortable in.

And to answer a common question ... yes "cowgirls" and "little wranglers" are most welcome too!

Cowboy from the start or just cowboy at heart ... you're welcome here.
